I have a Konica FP-1 Program film camera from the 1980s and would like to use a flash with it. The camera has a hot shoe, but I haven’t been able to find clear information on compatible flash units. Which flashes are known to work with the FP-1 Program?

You should be able to find a Konica flash for it on eBay. The FP-1 User Manual says the Konica X-18, X-24, and X-36 are recommended.

Yes — the Konica FP-1 Program can use a flash via its hot shoe. According to the FP-1 user manual, the recommended Konica flash units are the X-18, X-24, and X-36. If you want the most straightforward compatibility, those are the best models to look for.
Because this is an older film camera, using a period-correct Konica flash is the safest choice. Used examples may turn up on second-hand marketplaces.
