Can a Neewer QPRO-N trigger Neewer Z2-C flashes on a Canon EOS R6 in manual mode?

I can’t find the Neewer QPRO-C transmitter in stock and am considering buying the QPRO-N version temporarily for use with a Canon EOS R6. My flashes are Neewer Z2-C 2.4G TTL units. I do not need E-TTL right now and mainly want to learn off-camera flash in manual mode. Will the Nikon-version QPRO-N fire from the Canon R6 hot shoe and trigger the Z2-C flashes? If so, would I also be able to change flash settings remotely, or would it only act as a basic fire signal?

Theoretically, yes. But it's possible all you'd be able to do is fire the flash remotely from the transmitter. You might have M power by group control. But no TTL, HSS, or zooming. The only signal the two hotshoes have in common is the sync (fire) signal, which is part of the ISO standard.

However, I'm seeing the QPro-C in stock on Amazon in the US at the moment. Are you sure you have to wait for six months to find one?

Probably yes, but with important limits. A Nikon-version QPRO-N should generally be able to receive the basic ISO-standard center-pin sync signal from a Canon EOS R6, so it can likely fire the flashes remotely.
What is not likely to work across brands is the brand-specific hot-shoe communication. So you should not expect TTL, HSS, or remote zoom control. Remote manual power/group control might work, but it is not guaranteed; in a mixed-brand setup you may end up with only simple triggering.
So the safest expectation is:
- likely basic remote firing: yes
- TTL: no
- HSS: no
- zoom control: no
- remote manual settings: maybe, not assured
If you want full compatibility and reliable remote control from the camera system, the Canon-version transmitter is the correct choice.
