I process my photos in Darktable and am happy with it, but I’m missing a separate cataloging/DAM tool to help me organize and quickly find images. What photo management software is available on Linux for browsing, cataloging, and searching a photo library?

Yes—there are several Linux options commonly used alongside Darktable.
From the suggestions here, digiKam is a well-known photo management and cataloging tool on Linux. XnView MP was also recommended as a strong DAM choice, especially for file management, cataloging, and search, and it is cross-platform. Shotwell is another option if you want a simpler library/catalog tool, and F-Spot may also be worth a look.
If your main goal is fast searching and cataloging rather than raw processing, digiKam or XnView MP are the strongest suggestions from the answers provided. Shotwell and F-Spot can work if your needs are more basic.
The best choice depends on whether you want a lightweight catalog, strong keywording/search, or broader file-management features.
