I just got a Sony NEX-5N with the 18-55mm kit lens. After I shoot, most images appear briefly for 1–2 seconds in playback, but afterward the camera shows "Unable to Display" and I can’t review them on the camera. What could cause this?

The faulty SDHC card caused the problem. Bought a new one and work like charm.

Generated from our catalog & community — verify before relying on it.
A likely cause is a faulty or incompatible SD/SDHC memory card. If images appear briefly right after capture but later can’t be displayed, the files may not be writing or reading back correctly from the card.
Based on the community report, replacing the SDHC card solved the issue.
What to try:
- Test with a different, known-good SD/SDHC card
- Back up any readable images first
- Format the card in the camera before use
- Avoid using questionable or damaged cards
If a new card works normally, the original card was the problem.
