Is there a Magic Lantern-style firmware hack for the Nikon B700 or Panasonic FZ80 for remote live view?

I’m considering the Nikon Coolpix B700 or Panasonic Lumix FZ80 because they offer 4K video and long zoom at a low cost. My main issue is remote monitoring: I need some form of live view output or remote viewing, and these cameras don’t seem to offer the HDMI/live output I want.
Is there any Magic Lantern-like firmware project for Nikon or Panasonic that supports either of these models, or another way to get remote live view from them?

With the Panasonic camera (if you have a tablet or smart phone) you could download imageapp https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.panasonic.avc.cng.imageapp&hl=en_GB which allows remote access/control to the camera

Generated from our catalog & community — verify before relying on it.
There isn’t a Magic Lantern equivalent confirmed for either of the specific models you mentioned.
From the answers provided:
- Panasonic does offer a practical remote-view option via its Image App, which can provide remote access/control from a smartphone or tablet.
- There are third-party firmware-hack communities for Nikon and Panasonic, such as Nikon Hacker and GH1 Hack, but the answers specifically note that your listed models are not supported.
So for these two cameras, the realistic option mentioned is Panasonic’s mobile app-based remote viewing/control rather than a Magic Lantern-style firmware mod. If remote live view is essential, check the camera’s official wireless app support and live-view features before buying, since unsupported firmware hacks are unlikely to help on these models.
