I’m looking for a lens profile for the iPhone 3GS camera that can be used in Photoshop CS5’s Lens Correction tool. Is there an Adobe-made or user-created profile available to download, or would I need to create one myself?

I would try out the Adobe Lens Profile Creator available at Adobe Labs. It can help you correct geometric distortion, lateral chromatic aberration and vignette issues. It does take a bit of work for you to create one, but it isn't terribly hard. Once you get it setup, it is easy sailing from then on out.
I was not able to find a prebuilt iPhone 3GS profile, so this is the next best thing.

There doesn’t appear to be a prebuilt Photoshop CS5 lens profile available for the iPhone 3GS. The practical option is to create your own using Adobe Lens Profile Creator from Adobe Labs.
That tool can generate a profile to correct issues such as geometric distortion, lateral chromatic aberration, and vignetting. It takes some initial setup and test shots, but once you’ve created the profile, using it is straightforward.
So, if you can’t find an existing iPhone 3GS profile, making one yourself is the recommended solution.
