In Lightroom 5, I want to see every image in a stack in Survey View without manually expanding the stack, selecting each photo, and then switching views. Is there a quicker way to select all images in a collapsed stack and open them in Survey View?

Usually I select the collapsed stack while pressing the shift key, in this way I have selected all photos in the stack, then I can click on survey view or just press N key

Yes. In Lightroom 5, you can select all photos in a collapsed stack by clicking the stack while holding Shift. Once the whole stack is selected, switch to Survey View by clicking the Survey icon or pressing N. This avoids selecting each image individually.
