In Lightroom 5, I want to select several photos and reduce the Clarity setting by the same amount, while keeping each photo’s existing value relative to where it started.

For example, if three photos have Clarity values of 15, 32, and 12, I want to lower all three by 10 so they become 5, 22, and 2.

Using Auto Sync in the Develop module seems to set all selected photos to the same Clarity value instead of applying a relative adjustment. Is there a way to do this in Lightroom 5?

Sort of. In the Library grid view select the photos you want to edit. Then on the right panel look for the "Quick Develop" area. You can decrease clarity and a few other attributes.
