How do I pair a Godox X1T-N with a TT350-N on a Nikon D610?

I’m trying to use a Godox X1T-N transmitter to fire a Godox TT350-N off-camera with a Nikon D610, but the transmitter isn’t triggering the flash. The TT350-N works off-camera by itself, but not when I use the X1T-N. What settings need to match for first-time setup?

Check to see if the Wireless ID number on the transmitter is set to the same value as the Wireless ID number on the flash. If either of the Godex units is not capable of using Wireless ID numbers, then the ID number on the other unit must be set to "Off".

From comments made by the OP of both this question and the one referenced below to an answer to Godox TT350n/Nikon D610 - How to fire my Godox flash “only” as a rear curtain sync?

You are an absolute legend @MichaelC - No one on the internet talks about ID stuff. The ID on TT350-N was set to 1 (doesn't go below 1) and on X1T-N it was set to 0. I made both 1 and they're working now. :)

Make sure the transmitter and flash have matching wireless settings, especially the Wireless ID.

For the Godox X1T-N and TT350-N to communicate, they need to be on the same channel/group as needed, and the Wireless ID must also match. In your case, the TT350-N was set to ID 1 while the X1T-N was set to ID 0, so they would not connect. Setting both units to the same ID fixed the problem.

If one unit doesn’t support Wireless ID, set the other unit’s ID to Off. Otherwise, use the same ID value on both devices.

So the key checks are:

  • same wireless channel
  • correct group assignment
  • matching Wireless ID
  • flash set to radio slave mode

Once the IDs match, the X1T-N should trigger the TT350-N normally.
