How do I connect a FeiyuTech G6 Max to a Sony ZV-E10 for camera control over USB?

I’m trying to use a FeiyuTech G6 Max with a Sony ZV-E10 via cable for supported functions like start/stop recording, taking photos, mode switching, and electronic zoom. When I connect the supplied USB-C cable and power on the camera, the ZV-E10 enters USB mode and shows a USB streaming message instead of allowing gimbal control. What camera setting do I need to change so the USB connection works with the gimbal rather than defaulting to normal USB mode?

In the menu settings, enable PC Remote function.

Generated from our catalog & community — verify before relying on it.
Enable the Sony camera’s PC Remote setting.
The ZV-E10 is likely treating the USB connection as a normal USB/streaming connection, so the gimbal can’t communicate with it for camera control. Turning on PC Remote switches the camera to a control mode that allows external devices to send commands over USB.
Check the camera menu for PC Remote and enable it, then reconnect the gimbal cable and power-cycle if needed.
If it still doesn’t work, also make sure you’re using the correct control cable for the G6 Max and that the camera/gimbal combination is listed as supporting those functions.
