How do I apply the same Curves adjustment to multiple photos in Aperture?

In Aperture, I can select multiple images and use Photos > Add Adjustment for some edits, but Curves only seems to get added to the active image instead of all selected photos. I’d like to apply the same gentle S-curve contrast adjustment across a batch of photos. Is there a way to do that?

I also find this aspect of Aperture 3 confusing. I expect, if I've got several photos selected that if I apply an adjustment then it gets applied to all the selected photos but instead its only applied to the 'selected' photo w/in the selection... That is except for certain adjustments which makes it all the more confusing.
Anyway, the solution is to make the desired adjustment(s) to one photo then right click it and select 'Lift Adjusments' and select which adjustments you want to copy then select all the photos you want it applied to, right click again and click 'Stamp Adjustments' (or press 'Stamp Selected Images' if you still have the lift/stamp tool up.)

Yes. In Aperture, a regular Add Adjustment for something like Curves may only affect the active image, even if multiple photos are selected. To apply the same Curves settings to many images, use one of these workflows:
-
Create and apply a preset
- Edit one photo with the Curves settings you want.
- Save that edit as an Adjustment Preset.
- Select all target photos.
- Use Add Adjustment Preset to apply it to the whole selection.
-
Lift and Stamp adjustments
- Make the Curves adjustment on one photo.
- Right-click it and choose Lift Adjustments.
- Select the images you want.
- Right-click and choose Stamp Adjustments.
So the key point is: Add Adjustment and Add Adjustment Preset do not behave the same way for batch editing. If you want identical Curves settings on multiple photos, saving a preset or using Lift/Stamp is the reliable method.
