How can I transfer photos wirelessly from multiple Canon cameras to one computer for event printing?

For event photography, we want images from several Canon cameras to arrive on one computer quickly so we can print them without removing memory cards each time. Canon EOS Utility seems to handle only one camera at a time. Is there a practical way to send photos wirelessly from multiple cameras to a single computer, and what tools or workflow would be needed?

Certain Eye-Fi SD cards can achieve this to a degree. It looks like the Pro X2 cards might be required and you may only be able to transfer one at a time, but that may not matter to you.

As noted in the Pro X2 specs:

Infrastructure Support: Transfer photos from multiple Mobi Pro cards directly over configured wireless networks without disrupting your internet connections

See this discussion for more information about using an Eye-Fi in this way: https://community.eyefi.com/eyefi/topics/can-2-cameras-using-eyefi-connect-wirelessly-to-a-single-computer

Also note that you won't be able to use the Canon software(Camera Connect; EOS Remote was discontinued) for this unless you are the first known to hack it to do such a thing.

Canon’s EOS Utility generally isn’t the right tool for managing multiple Canon cameras wirelessly to one computer at the same time. Based on the answers, the practical options are:

  1. Use Wi‑Fi memory cards such as certain Eye‑Fi models. Some supported cards can transfer photos from multiple cameras over the same wireless network to one computer. Depending on the card and setup, transfers may happen one at a time, but that can still work for event printing.

  2. Use a third‑party tethering/control solution such as DSLR Dashboard with compatible wireless hardware. This is more of an alternative ecosystem than a Canon-native workflow.

So the short answer is: not with standard Canon software alone. If your goal is automatic delivery of files from several cameras, look at multi-camera-capable Wi‑Fi card workflows or a third‑party wireless tethering system.
