How can I import only photos from my iPhone into Lightroom without selecting videos one by one?

I'm importing images from an iPhone into Lightroom and want to skip the video files during import. Is there a way in Lightroom to separate photos from videos in the import window so I can avoid manually unticking each video clip individually?

Lightroom does in fact have an option to filter or sort on the media type. In your case, you want to filter out the MOV files from the JPG files. All you have to do is select the Sort> Media Type option at the bottom of the import window. This will sort the files by media type, and then give you the option to select a range of photos, and uncheck them all with a single box.

Yes. In Lightroom’s Import window, use the sorting option at the bottom and choose Media Type. That groups the files by type, so the MOV video files are separated from the JPG photos. You can then select the video range and uncheck them all at once instead of disabling each one individually.
