I want to print an image from Photoshop and place it centered on the sheet of paper. What is the quickest way to center the image on the page before printing?

Select the background layer in the layers tab, goto the menu Layer > Align Layers to Selection - then choose your desired alignment.

In Photoshop, select the layer you want to print, then use the alignment tools to center it relative to the canvas/page. One reported method is:

  1. Select the background layer in the Layers panel.
  2. Go to Layer > Align Layers to Selection.
  3. Choose the horizontal and/or vertical center alignment you want.

This centers the image on the document, which should place it in the middle when printed if your document size matches the paper size.
