Good Amsterdam canal locations for a group photo in afternoon light

I need to take a group photo in Amsterdam with a canal in the background. I know there isn’t one perfect spot, but I’m looking for practical location suggestions based on things like space for a group, enough distance for framing, and avoiding heavy traffic or tourists as much as possible. I’m hoping to shoot around 15:00–16:00, so afternoon light is also a factor.

On of the most beautiful channels is the "Prinsengracht". There are trees around that give a nice frame, too.
There are some spots where the bridge over the channel is wider and you can get some distance between you and the group. For example here. This location should have the right direction for afternoon light.
On every spot in Amsterdam however there is a risk that some cafe or other shop might setup their chairs on free spaces. To go blindly to a place is not really recommended, specially in summer.
