Does my Mamiya RB67 Pro S 120 back need an empty take-up spool?

I just got an RB67 Pro with a Pro S 120 film back. On one side of the insert, the loaded roll seems to wiggle and it looks like something might be missing to hold the spool securely. The opposite side has the holder for the empty reel. Is this actually a missing part, or do I just need to install an empty 120 spool in the take-up side?

You likely are not missing a special back part—you need an empty 120 spool installed in the take-up side.
With 120 film backs, the new roll starts on one spool and winds onto the empty spool as you shoot. After finishing a roll, that now-empty spool is moved to the take-up side for the next roll. If there’s no empty spool in place, the film can feel loose or unsupported.
So the part you need is simply an empty 120 film spool. A local film lab or camera shop will often have extras available.
