Compact camera that can auto-transfer photos to a PC after each shot

I’m looking for a secondary compact camera that can send photos to my computer automatically right after I take them, without needing to manually start a transfer each time. Ideally, I’d like the JPEGs to appear on a shared network drive over Wi‑Fi or similar. Are there compact cameras that can do this, or is there another practical setup?

Basically, you just want to make sure that it supports Eye-Fi SD cards. As long as it does, then the memory card will take care of the upload.

A practical option is to choose a camera that supports Eye‑Fi SD cards. In that setup, the card handles the wireless upload, so the camera itself doesn’t need a complex built-in transfer workflow.
So rather than looking for a specific compact camera with fully automatic PC transfer, look for one with SD card compatibility and confirmed Eye‑Fi support. Then the process can be much closer to: shoot a photo, and the JPEG uploads automatically to your computer or network destination.
Whether it works exactly the way you want depends on the Eye‑Fi card/software setup and the camera supporting those cards properly.
