Can you assign exposure compensation to the top dial on a Canon EOS 5D Mark II in Tv mode?

On a Canon EOS 5D Mark II, I’d like to use the top dial to adjust exposure compensation in Tv mode after I’ve already set shutter speed. Is there a custom setting that lets you swap the dial functions so the top dial controls exposure compensation instead of the rear wheel?

No, there is no way to do what you want.
You can swap which direction of each dial/wheel increases/decreases exposure. You can swap which dial/wheel controls Av and which controls Tv in Manual exposure mode. But you can't assign exposure compensation to anything but the rear wheel.

No. On the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, exposure compensation cannot be reassigned to the top dial in Tv mode; it remains controlled by the rear wheel.
According to the available customization options, you can:
- reverse the direction each dial changes values
- change which dial controls aperture and shutter speed in Manual mode
But you cannot assign exposure compensation to any control other than the rear wheel.
