Can the Nikon D750 show a histogram before taking the shot?

On a Nikon D750, is there any way to see a histogram before pressing the shutter—either in the optical viewfinder or in Live View? I can see the histogram during image review afterward, but I’d like to check exposure before taking the photo if possible.

You can't view histogram via viewfinder, this is DSLR and you see via lens.
In live view mode you can press Info button several times and on one of the views you will see histogram.

Yes, but only in Live View. On the Nikon D750, you cannot display a histogram in the optical viewfinder because it’s a DSLR viewfinder showing the scene directly through the lens. In Live View, you can cycle the display overlays by pressing the Info button; one of the display modes includes a histogram. So if you want a pre-shot histogram, switch to Live View and use the Info button to bring it up.
