Can Lightroom add the original filename as a keyword when exporting?

I’m using Lightroom 4.1. When I export files, they may be renamed, and later it can be hard to find the original image again in Lightroom. Is there a way to automatically add the original filename as a keyword/tag to exported files?

No you can't. But what you can do is to export using file name and the capture date. That should help you to locate your photo later. To do this, in the export dialog under File Naming section, choose Date - Filename setting.

Lightroom 4.1 does not let you automatically add the original filename as a keyword during export.
A practical workaround is to use a filename format on export that preserves identifying information from the original file. In the Export dialog, go to File Naming and choose a preset such as Date - Filename. Including the capture date and filename in the exported name can make it much easier to locate the source image again in Lightroom later.
