Matt Kloskowski
specializes in wildlife, landscape, and nature photography, as well as post-process editing with Photoshop and Lightroom. Matt was inducted into the Photoshop Hall of Fame in 2014 and is the best-selling author of over 20 books. Matt loves to educate others and spends much of his time creating courses for his website as well as teaching around the world. He is also a Sony Artisan of Imagery.

Bobby Stormer
is an award-winning and published wildlife photographer. Inspired by wildlife conservationist Steve Irwin, Bobby has been fascinated by animals since childhood. He has volunteered for wildlife rehabilitation rescues, dog rescues, and conservation efforts, and credits this experience as instrumental to his success in reading animal behaviors, tracking wildlife, and capturing those treasured moments.

You’ll also learn about our Creators Challenge, special sales, and provide insights into the fall migration in Cape May.

Birds in Motion: Mastering Fast Action with Matt Kloskowski

Join Matt for a fun, practical, and easy-to-repeat approach to capturing birds and wildlife in all different situations. He’ll go over basic camera setup, auto focus, and how the camera actually sees things. Once you have a clearer understanding of your camera's capabilities, you’ll be able to build a strong foundation and capture crisp, dynamic shots of birds in action.

Meet Matt and Bobby at Cape May Point State Park & Hawkwatch for a golden hour experience where you’ll capture the spectacular migration of raptors and shorebirds. Learn how to optimize your camera settings to capture birds in flight and how to use the evening light to create stunning backdrops. Expect to photograph a diverse range of species, including hawks, falcons, eagles, terns, egrets, herons, skimmers, warblers and more!

Embrace the beauty of dawn and capture the dynamic autumn migration of songbirds and more. Meet up with Matt and Bobby and they'll guide you uncovering unique compositions in the early morning light. Expect to see a variety of bird species, including warblers, nuthatches, vireos, hawks, waterfowl, and other migratory wonders.
*Meet in the parking lot at the end of Higbees Beach Rd, closest to the beach. There is overflow parking at the start of Higbees Beach Rd and along New England Rd.
