Overview
When it comes to choosing a single lens or a single source of light, the Westcott 7-ft White Diffusion Parabolic Umbrella is a practical choice. As the name suggests, it features a white diffusion fabric, which enables you to use the umbrella in the standard bounce mode or shoot through it like a large softbox. This umbrella is made of 16 durable fiberglass ribs, as opposed to the conventional bendable metal. The double wall shaft is designed to provide double the thickness of most umbrellas. Use the 7-mm tapered shaft tip for accommodating the Elinchrom and other European brands of flash heads. While traveling, you could carry the umbrella in the included lightweight carry bag, which features a shoulder strap and is made of heavy-duty nylon.
