The lens comes with 18 optical elements arranged in 13 groups, which includes 2 Extra-low Dispersion and 3 highly-refractive elements to reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations. The micro-motor focusing system doesn't cause unwanted sounds. The seven iris blades are rounded to provide a pleasant bokeh quality. You can attach a 58mm filter to the front thread.
