The combination of an external AF sensor and Canon's legendary auto focus system gives quick and precise results no matter in which light conditions you are shooting. The 8-blade iris makes the shallow depth of field more pleasing by creating a rounded bokeh. Also, the additional blades minimize light diffraction. You can extend the zoom range by 1.5×, 3×, and 6× with the built-in digital teleconverter.
