The Sigma DC HSM ART 18-35mm f/1.8 is an ideal lens for capturing large structures and landscapes in a single frame. This lens can be attached to Sony A-mount cameras having APS-C-sized sensors. The optical design of the lens comprises 17 elements arranged in 12 groups, including 4 aspherical and 5 SLD glass elements. This lens design provides chromatic and spherical consistency throughout the zoom range. Additionally, the lens elements have a super multi-layer coating applied to minimize internal reflections, ghosting, and lens flare. The lens offers a smooth and quiet autofocusing performance with its hyper sonic AF motor. The lens can cover a 76.5°–44.2° field of view and capture photos over a minimum focus distance of 11 inches. The nine-blade diaphragm produces a pleasing bokeh in pictures. The body of the lens is made of TSC material that makes it lightweight as well as robust for hassle-free functioning in harsh weather conditions.
