The Roland R-26 6-Channel Digital Field Audio Recorder is a compact and versatile piece of equipment that lets you record all forms of audio for an array of applications in music, journalism, filmmaking, and so on. It is equipped with built-in stereo mics and Roland's DSP engine, which lets you record up to six channels as three stereo pairs. The directional and omnidirectional stereo mics can be combined in numerous ways to create a wide range of patterns. This recorder captures audio not just in the WAV and BWF formats at rates of up to 24-bit/96 kHz, but also in the widely-accepted MP3 format at a rate of up to 320 kbps. For added versatility, this recorder also comes with essential features such as a Loop-Back function and a high-speed USB port.
