Condition: Excellent
With its compact size and ergonomic design, the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Body Only in Silver is a smart choice for amateur photographers. It features a 16 MP 4/3-inch Live MOS sensor, which works in conjunction with the TruePic VII image processor to capture high-quality pictures and Full HD videos. Use the Dual F.A.S.T. Contrast and Phase Detection AF technology for focusing on your subjects automatically with immense precision. The 5-Axis, in-body image stabilization comes in handy for reducing blurring and capturing sharp photos and videos. The inbuilt WiFi facility lets you control the camera remotely through or share content wirelessly with your iOS or Android tablet and smartphone, by means of the help of the Olympus O.I. Share app.
Optics and Focus
The OM-D E-M1 camera body from Olympus is compatible with a variety of lenses that offer respectable apertures and focal lengths. The Dual F.A.S.T. Contrast and Phase Detection AF technology makes it easy to focus on your subjects automatically in a precise manner. The maximum mechanical and electronic shutter speeds stand at 1/8,000th of a second and 1/16,000th of a second, respectively. You can adjust the ISO sensitivity between 100 and 25,600. The white-balance mode, exposure mode, as well as the metering methods come in handy for a variety of photography situations.
Sensor and Screen
The Olympus OM-D E-M1 comes with a 16 MP 4/3-inch Live MOS sensor that lets you shoot astounding images and Full HD footage. The supersonic wave filter automatically cleans the sensor when you switch the camera on or off. The 3-inch, tiltable LCD touchscreen boasts a resolution of 1,037,000 dots for viewing your captured pictures and videos, as well as browsing menus with immense clarity. When certain lighting scenarios make it difficult to capture your scene, use the 2.36-million-dot electronic viewfinder. Both the LCD touchscreen and viewfinder provide a coverage of 100%.
Image and Video
The OM-D E-M1 captures JPEG and RAW stills at its highest resolution of 4608x3456 pixels, as well as 1080p Full HD videos in the MOV format at 30p. Use the 5-Axis in-body image stabilization for reducing accidental camera shakes, thereby shooting photos and footage with a great deal of sharpness. The TruePic VII image processor is capable of processing imagery at a high speed with impressive quality. You can capture time-lapse movies at a resolution of 1280x720 pixels in the AVI format at 10 fps.
Other Features
The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Body Only is equipped with built-in WiFi, which enables you to share imagery or remote-control the camera by downloading the Olympus O.I. Share app. Made of high-quality magnesium alloy, the OM-D E-M1 is not only durable and lightweight, but also dust-, splash-, and freeze-proof. The bundled FL-LM2 flash, which is also splash- and dust-proof, makes it easy to capture photos and videos in the dark. Use the USB 2.0 Hi-Speed port for transferring data from the camera to a computer. The HDMI port makes it possible to view your captured content directly from the camera on an HDTV. This camera is powered by a BLN-1 Lithium-Ion battery.
