Overview

When it comes to shooting highly detailed videos for production houses, the Sony PXW-FS7M2 XDCAM Super 35 Camera System is an ideal gadget. It features a 4K Super 35 EXMOR sensor, which provides up to 14 stops of latitude and a wide color gamut. The electronic variable ND filter lets you use the iris on your lens for setting the depth of field, and then adjust the exposure accordingly with the ND. The ergonomic SmartGrip has three crucial controls embedded on it: Assign, Start/Stop, and Zoom. It gives you the freedom to operate the camcorder with one hand, so that the lens attached to the camera can be held with the other.

The genlock and timecode breakout, with the optional XDCA-FS7, enables raw and ProRes recordings with the assistance of optional recorders. Also, this camera supports BT.2020 and Rec. 709.
