The Sigma 18–50MM F/2.8–4.5 HSM Lens offers a fast autofocus performance throughout the zoom range. Designed for Canon EF-S mount cameras, the lens uses 16 elements in 12 groups that include two Special Low Dispersion and three aspherical elements to correct chromatic and spherical anomalies. The super multi-layer coating cuts down the ghosting and flare when working in bright conditions. With the internally housed HSM system, the lens ensures silent and accurate autofocus. Also, it permits to use hoods and polarizing filters with the lens. The optical image stabilization smoothens the camera shakes when shooting handheld. With the 7-blade diaphragm, the out-of-focus background becomes smooth. You can attach a 67mm filter to the front thread.
