Classic in design and modern in technology, the Fuji X-E1 Black with 16–50mm F/3.5–5.6 OIS offers you the best of both worlds. It is designed with a 16.3 MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor, which works with the EXR image processor for processing imagery at a high speed with reduced false colors and moiré. The High-Speed Contrast autofocus enables you to focus on subjects in 0.1 seconds, which is essential for capturing subjects in high-speed motion. Use the optical image stabilization for capturing blur-free shots. Complementing the retro and durable design of this camera is its magnesium-alloy construction.

Optics and Focus

The optics of this Fuji camera’s 16–50mm f/3.5–5.6 lens are made of 12 elements in 10 groups, as well as 3 aspherical elements, 1 ED element, and a Super EBC coating. The lens supports the camera’s High-Speed Contrast autofocus and optical image stabilization. The High-Speed Contrast autofocus lets you focus on subjects in 0.1 seconds, while the optical image stabilization makes it easy to capture blur-free shots. The shutter speed stands at 1/4,000th of a second, while the ISO sensitivity can be adjusted between 100 and 25,600 in the extended mode. The exposure and white-balance modes, along with the metering methods, come in handy for numerous photography tasks.

Sensor and Screen

The X-E1’ camera’s 16.3 MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor lets you shoot high-quality stills and Full HD videos. The 2.8-inch rear LCD screen offers a resolution of 460 k dots, which is perfect for viewing the captured content and accessing menus with immense clarity. Image and Video

In addition to capturing RAW and JPEG photos at its highest resolution of 4896×3264 pixels, the X-E1 from Fuji records 1080p Full HD videos at 24 fps in the MOV and MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 formats. The EXR image processor renders your imagery at a high speed with less false colors and moiré. You may perform burst shooting of 6 frames at a maximum rate of 3 fps. Use the Auto Bracketing mode for getting a correctly exposed shot, by taking up to three continuous shots at slightly different levels. You may capture Motion Panorama shots at up to four different resolutions: large vertical 7680×2160, large horizontal 7680×1440, medium vertical 5120×2160, and medium horizontal 5120×1440 pixels.
