Compact, lightweight, and high on performance, the Panasonic GX85 Body Only is a must-have for every enthusiastic photographer. It is equipped with a 16 MP Digital Live MOS sensor for shooting stunning pictures and 4K videos. Use the Depth-From-Defocus (DFD) autofocus technology for focusing on subjects with stunning attention to detail. The 5-Axis Dual Image Stabilization function makes it possible to shoot blur-free videos and stills without breaking a sweat. You can record 4K photos at an outstanding burst rate of 30 fps. Lastly, the inbuilt WiFi function enables you to share your captured content with most WiFi-enabled devices.

Optics and Focus

The GX85 camera body from Panasonic is compatible with a variety of Micro Four Thirds lenses that offer impressive focal lengths and apertures. The DFD autofocus technology calculates the subject’s distance in an instant, then drives the focus mechanism quickly and continuously for focusing on your desired subject. The electronic shutter speed ranges from 1 second to 1/16,000th of a second, and the ISO sensitivity ranges from 100 to 25,600. Use the 5-Axis Dual Image Stabilization function for shooting blur-free images and videos with little effort. The various white-balance settings and exposure modes are useful for a wide range of photography scenarios.

Sensor and Screen

The Panasonic GX85 features a 16 MP Digital Live MOS sensor that lets you take 4K videos and images with astounding quality. The 3-inch LCD touchscreen, which tilts up and down by 80° and 45°, respectively, offers a resolution of 1040 k dots for viewing captured content and browsing menus with immense clarity. The 2764 k-dot live viewfinder comes in handy during harsh lighting conditions, where it becomes complicated to use the LCD screen.

Image and Video

In addition to shooting JPEG, MPO, and RAW pictures at its highest resolution of 4592×2584 pixels, this camera records high-quality 4K videos at 30p in the MP4 format. The GX85 comes with built-in WiFi connectivity that lets you share your captured videos and images with a majority of WiFi-enabled devices.
