Overview

The Sony RMT-P1 BT Wireless Bluetooth Remote uses bluetooth technology to provide a reliable, responsive, and precise control during architectural photography, landscape shooting, astrophotography, group portraits, still motion photography, and more. Eliminating the need for wires, cables, and receivers, Sony's Wireless Bluetooth Remote is able to connect to your camera via Bluetooth Connectivity. Featuring a fast-response of approximately .05 seconds time-lag, the remote ensures extreme accuracy for the shutter release. An LED light is also featured to indicate the operating status of your camera by continuously light, or flashing. The Wireless Bluetooth Remote is able to maximize control over camera functionality, using manual control over subtle focus changes (C1 Custom Button), a start/stop control for movie shooting, and control over power/digital zoom. These features make it an ideal accessory for remote movie shooting. For photographers who prefer to shoot in Bulb Exposure Mode, the remote can be set to open and close the shutter with the main button, eliminating the need for holding down a button throughout exposure time.
