Overview
The Blackmagic Design SmartView Duo is a pair of rack-mountable, 8-inch LCD monitors that are ideal for live production switching. It has 3G, HD, and SD-SDI inputs positioned for mounting on a 3 RU rack. The integrated tally, which accepts inputs via a standard 9-pin D connector, displays the video status with a red, green, or blue ring around screen borders. The inputs can stream digital signals from 525i and 625i to 1080 progressive frames at 60 fps, as well as 2K videos. With the Ethernet input, you may adjust the monitors in a central location and save their settings, copied from one to the other. The SmartView Duo LCDs have auto-rotation-sensing capabilities that adjust the display orientation, whether the unit is positioned upside down or not. You may update the firmware of the SmartView Duo via the USB.
