The Sigma 50–100mm T2 High-Speed Zoom Lens is built to fulfill cinematic requirements of a professional filmmaker. This cinema lens is made for the Sony E-mount cameras. It covers an image circle of a Super 35mm-size sensor. You can adjust the focus, zoom, and iris with the dedicated control rings manually. These rings are complemented with Metric scale marking on both right and left side. The focus and zoom rings can rotate up to 180° and 160°, respectively. All the rings have incorporated dampeners that reduce the metallic noise occurring at the endpoint. Also, the iris ring has a clickless functioning to ensure noiseless operation. The 9-blade diaphragm emphasizes the foreground subject by producing a pleasant blur in the background. You can obtain bright results even while working in low light thanks to the maximum T-stop value of 2. The cine-standard 0.8 module gear pitch makes the rings accept professional film accessories such as a follow focus unit. This Sigma cine lens has a 95mm front diameter for allowing you to fit different types of matte boxes. You can use 82mm circular filters on the front thread. The all-metal body is weather sealed to protect the inner parts from dust and water.
