Overview
The Sigma 500 mm f/4 DG OS HSM Sports Lens is a sophisticated, well-equipped tool that is designed to be used with a variety of Sigma SA-mount cameras. It features a Super Multi-Layer coating on the lens elements that helps in suppressing lens ghosting and flare to capture photos with neutral colors and rich contrast, even in dark areas. The inbuilt HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor), which comes with an optimized AF algorithm, is useful for delivering an instant, smooth, and silent autofocus performance. The Optical Stabilizer system compensates for up to 4 shutter speed stops for taking sharper photos. The lens’ splash- and dust-proof construction comes with a rubber sealing for protecting the lens mount, as well as a water- and oil-repellent coating on the front and rear elements.
