The Sigma 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DC MACRO OS HSM Contemporary Lens for Nikon is a special lens designed for the Nikon cameras and offers a versatile focal length equivalent of 27-450mm. Constructed with 17 elements in 13 groups, the lens has a maximum aperture range of f/3.5-6.3. The lens achieves greater clarity and contrast to an image with the inclusion of one SLD and four FLD elements. With its Super Multi-Layer coating on the elements, this lens offers less flare and improved contrast. Moreover, the lens achieves a quite autofocus with its Hyper Sonic Motor that also provides an accurate focusing. It also comes with an optional AML72-01 close-up lens as well as a front 72mm filter thread.
