Overview

The Shure Super 55 Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone features a chrome casing with blue foam, giving it a classic look. This microphone is designed for recording sessions, live performances, podcasting, & on-camera use. The dynamic cartridge is shock-mounted to eliminate handling noise & vibrations coming through your microphone stand. Its supercardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of off-axis noise & ambience, which produces higher gain before feedback. The microphone provides a frequency response of 60 Hz to 17 kHz with a light presence boost peaking at approximately 6 kHz. Its XLR 3-pin output makes it compatible with most mixer inputs, microphone preamps, & portable PA systems. Its attached self-tensioning swivel mount can be tilted up to 45 degrees forward & 80 degrees backward. Its Chrome-plated, die-cast design provides tour-worthy stability. Also included is a zippered bag for safe storage.
