Overview
The Shure Beta 58A Microphone is a handheld supercardioid dynamic microphone that offers an enhanced midrange & controlled proximity effect for clear reproduction of singing vocals, speech, and instruments in concerts, live stage applications, and more. Its dynamic capsule uses a neodymium magnet for a high signal-to-noise level, & is shock-mounted to reduce noise created from handling the microphone. It does not require a power source & produces a frequency response of 50 Hz to 16 kHz with a light boost above 3 kHz. The supercardioid polar pattern is maintained across the microphone's frequency range, which allows for it to consistently reject sound at its off-axis points, & delivers a high immunity to feedback. The XLR 3-pin output allows this microphone to be compatibile with most mixer inputs, microphone preamps, & portable PA systems. Also included is a threaded adapter, a microphone clip, and a storage bag.
