OVERVIEW

The Saramonic CineBuff Wire Reinforced Moleskin Kit provides a flexible solution for mounting and concealing lavalier microphones on a subject’s clothing or skin. The kit includes 10 black sticky wire-reinforced moleskin strips measuring 100 x 25mm and 10 beige sticky moleskin strips measuring 40 x 20mm. The reinforced strips are cuttable and shapeable, allowing them to be adapted to a variety of lavalier mounting applications.

Wire Reinforcement Creates More Space

Each reinforced moleskin strip features a rigid, bendable wire inside that retains its shape and allows users to create additional room around a lavalier when it is positioned under clothing. Maintaining space between the microphone and clothing helps reduce friction, body movement, and rustling noise while keeping the microphone stable and securely positioned.

Added Abrasion and Friction Protection

The included beige sticky moleskin strips can be used to sandwich and cover the lavalier against the reinforced moleskin once mounted. This provides additional abrasion protection while further reducing friction and body movement noise for rustle-free sound. The reinforced strips can also be used to secure sticky fur windscreens, lavalier concealers, Stickies, and Foamies.

Strong, Skin-Friendly Adhesive

The CineBuff moleskin uses strong waterproof and sweat-proof adhesive for a secure hold on clothing or skin. Despite its firm grip, the skin-friendly adhesive peels away cleanly without leaving residue. With bendable wire reinforcement, soft moleskin construction, and multiple mounting options, the kit provides an effective solution for lavalier concealment and improved audio performance.
