The Rode VideoMic NTG Hybrid Analog/USB On-Camera Shotgun Microphone is designed to provide video content-creators, filmmakers, podcasters, & more, a way to record high-quality audio, via a camera-mounted microphone, that requires no additional adapters, to use with cameras, portable recorders, smartphones, tablets, & even USB-equipped computers.
The VideoMic NTG Hybrid Analog Shotgun Microphone features focused directivity, tone controls, variable gain, & an internal USB-rechargeable battery. Its aerospace-grade aluminum housing makes it durable, compact, & lightweight, for easy use with a camera or boompole.
To ensure compatibility with cameras, smartphones, portable recorders, & computers, with no adapter required, the microphone features an auto-sensing 3.5mm TRRS output, & includes a TRRS cable.
A peak warning-light, -20 dB pad, & a selectable -20 dB safety channel, all help to avoid distortion in your audio recordings. When the VideoMic NTG Hybrid Analog Shotgun Microphone is used as a USB microphone, the 3.5mm jack functions as a stereo-headphone output, for real-time monitoring.
