Overview
Conveniently minimize noise while recording audio with a shotgun microphone in boompole-mounted or handheld applications, with the Røde PG2-R Updated Pistol Grip. It features dual Rycote Lyre mounts that are capable of preventing unwanted handling vibrations. Use the shockmount, which has a lightweight handle with a cushioned grip, for accommodating multiple cable mounting points. The 3/8"-16 threads located at the base of the handle ensure a secure connection to most microphone stands and boompoles. A heavy-duty locking nut on the side for the handle enables you to adjust the microphone angle smoothly. Also, the 4 mounting points in this pistol grip are compatible with the PG2 Pro Cable, as well as the NT55, NTG1, NTG2, M5, NT5, NTG3, NTG4, and NTG4+ microphones from Røde.
