Panasonic VW-HU1 Detachable Handle

Overview

The Panasonic VW-HU1 Detachable Handle is specially designed, for the separately available, Panasonic HC-X1500 Camcorder, to provide a top-handle, microphone input, LED light, & more, for a full videography experience. The VW-HU1 Detachable Handle features two, 3-pin XLR audio-inputs, a microphone holder, a start/stop record button, a zoom-rocker, & a built-in LED light.

The Detachable Handle is made to attach, directly, to the top of the camera, making use of its proprietary connector. To securely mount the handle to your camera, it is designed to attach, via thumbscrew. The XLR audio-inputs feature selectable mic/line options, as well as volume controls, & +48V phantom power, enabling the ability to add two channels of audio, to your recording. A microphone holder is located at the top of the handle, & is designed to, conveniently, fit a standard shotgun-microphone. The Detachable Handle's diffused, LED light, allows you to illuminate your scene, & features dimming-control. A "tally LED" is also featured, to indicate when the camera is recording.
