The Panasonic 14-140mm LUMIX G Vario Telephoto Zoom Lens is based on the Micro Four Thirds system standard. Its versatile zoom range, from wide-angle to telephoto, also features a dust & splash-resistant construction for heavy field use. Its design also maintains its stylish, compact & lightweight profile. With a zoom range of 14-140mm (35mm camera equivalent: 28-280mm), this lens suits a wide range of shooting situations. It can capture the detail of a dynamic landscape, bring subjects up close, or shoot a close-up, impressive portrait with an out-of-focus background. Its Optical Image Stabilizer compensates for large, slow subjects, as well as small & fast movement, making it easy to shoot clear shots (even in low-lit situations, such as nighttime or indoors). Its design incorporates an inner focus drive system & stepping motor, making it more than capable of smooth & silent operation. This lens is also compatible with sensor drives that max.  at 240 fps to take maximum advantage of digital cameras with high-speed AF. The 14-140mm LUMIX G Vario is comprised of 14 elements in 12 groups, featuring three aspherical lenses & two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses to provide dramatic downsizing, with reduced distortion & chromatic aberration. The lens is built with an extremely reliable metal mount & features multi-coated lens elements to minimize ghosting and flaring. Its seven-blade aperture diaphragm produces a smooth, out-of-focus effect.
