Overview

The Nikon Premier 8 x 42 Binocular features a weather-sealed magnesium-alloy housing and an Eco-Glass optical path that contains no lead or arsenic. It combines a fully multicoated lens system and field flattener eyepieces to transmit a contrast-rich image. To further match its image quality, the binocular is able to focus at nearly 10 feet and displays a 52 degree apparent viewing angle. The phase-corrected roof prisms preserve sharpness and colour fidelity without sacrificing the brightness. In addition, the turn-and-slide eyecups with multiple click-stop positions facilitate convenience of use. These binoculars offer a 20mm eye relief, which makes it suitable for people who have to wear spectacles at all times.
