OVERVIEW

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S Lens is a prime, wide-angle lens, by Nikon, that covers an ultra-wide field of view, & is designed for FX-Format, Z-Mount Mirrorless Cameras (& DX-Models, where it provides a 30mm Equivalent Focal Length). The lens features a bright, f/1.8 maximum aperture, & an advanced optical design, which uses ED, & Aspherical Elements, as well as Nano Crystal, & Super Integrated coatings, to produce sharp, & clear images, with high contrast, & accurate color rendering.

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S Lens's features a Multi-Focus System, which incorporates 2x separate AF-Drive units, that are synchronized, to provide fast, quiet, & precise autofocusing. The system uses stepping-motors in the lens' design, & features full-time manual focus override, to suit video, & stills applications. A programmable control ring is featured on the NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S, & can be customized, for intuitive adjustment, over camera-, & exposure-settings. Through the use of the lens' internal-focusing design, the lens is able to maintain its overall-length, & promote faster focusing-speeds.

A specialized, electromagnetic aperture-mechanism is included in the lens' design, to provide greater stability, & control, over your exposure (Especially helpful, during the use of fast continuous-shooting rates). The lens features a rounded, nine-blade diaphragm, which produces a, pleasing "bokeh" quality, through the use of selective-focusing techniques. The lens-barrel is dust-, & moisture-resistant, to benefit working in inclement weather conditions.
