This lens is one of Meike’s cine lens in the new FF-Prime Cine Series. With an image circle of 45mm, the PL-mount 85mm T2.1 FF-Prime Cine lens is compatible with Full Frame cameras. The prime lens has a fast maximum aperture (T2.1), standard 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears, and an 11-bladed aperture for smooth, rounded bokeh.
The lens design of the Meike 85mm T2.1 FF-Prime consists of fourteen elements in eight groups.The aperture mechanism consists of 11 aperture blades. The minimum focus distance is 85mm.
Scale markings are provided in both feet and meters, and a focus rotation of 330° allows for precision manual focus adjustment. With a 85mm focal length, this cine lens has a horizontal angle of view of 29.5° and a minimum focus distance of 33.5".
