Drone First Grade: Photography and Videography with Michael Downey (Philly)

Designed for beginners and mid-level users, this "First Grade" course will be hosted by Head Instructor Michael Downey at Unique Photo Philly. He'll aim to provide you with the essential knowledge and skills to confidently pilot a drone through a mix of theory and hands-on practice. You’ll learn about drone components, safety regulations, flight controls, and basic aerial maneuvers. Whether you're a complete novice or already have some experience, Michael will guide you toward becoming a proficient drone pilot in no time! Get ready to soar to new heights with us!

• Drone applications: aerial mapping, remote sensing, industrial inspection
• Flight exercises and basic maneuvering
• Camera & drone accessories
• Waypoints and tracking
• Hyperlapse tips
• Cinematographic maneuvering

*Weather permitting, there will be time to practice flying your drone at a local park with Michael's assistance.
