Use up to four disks for Thunderbolt- and Thunderbolt 2-compatible systems with the Blackmagic MultiDock 2. It is used for accessing the media recorded from Blackmagic cameras, HyperDeck SSD recorders, and 2.5-inch drives. This docking station is mountable on 1 RU racks. It comes with four 2.5-inch SATA connections for SSD and HDDs. This docking system can handle the load of DCI and UHD 4k videos and stereoscopic 3D files. The Thunderbolt 2 connector offers a data transfer speed of up to 20 Gbps. Also, you can use the included utility software to convert the docking system to a large RAID storage unit for 4K editing and color correction or grading. It provides data transfer rate of up to 500 Mbps when SATA 3 SSDs are used. Use the loop-through Thunderbolt port to daisy-chain up to five Thunderbolt devices and link them to your computer via a single Thunderbolt cable. The MultiDock 2 has illuminated indicators that surround the disk slots. A user-replaceable socket is provided in each disk slot. You don’t need to install additional drivers, as the docking system offers plug-and-play operation. There is a replaceable socket connector in each disk slot. The docking station has a built-in power supply with 110-240 VAC IEC connection.
