ATEM Television Studio HD is the first production switcher designed for both broadcasters and AV professionals. It includes 4 SDI and 4 HDMI inputs with re-sync on all inputs so you can use it with broadcast or consumer cameras. ATEM Television Studio HD is packed with high end features and is perfect for live production, episodic television programming, web shows, AV or even live coverage of gaming competitions! Simply plug in cameras, game consoles or computers and start switching live!

The tiny ATEM Television Studio HD model has the same high quality broadcast features as the world's best switchers, all miniaturized into an elegant, compact design that gives you complete control from the front panel! The Teranex Mini based form factor can be used as a stand alone on the desktop or it can be installed in equipment racks using the Teranex Mini Rack Shelf. Because it only uses ? of the rack shelf, you still have space for additional devices. With ATEM Television Studio HD you simply get more creative features than any other production switcher, in a compact design that’s super portable!

Front Panel Control

Control the switcher directly from the front panel

With ATEM Television Studio HD you don’t need extra hardware or computers to run the switcher, because it’s been designed to be operated directly from the front panel! The high quality illuminated buttons, bright LCD screen and spin knob give you access to all switcher features. You get source buttons, program and preview output, cut, media pool, fade to black, audio, aux output, and much more! You can even add effects, graphics, and create picture in picture effects, all right from the front panel!

Downstream Keyer

The DSK 1 MIX button is used to key graphics with alpha channels over source video using a nice smooth transition.

Fade to Black

The FTB button is ideal for the start and end of your program because it immediately fades all video to black.

Media Players

The MP1 and MP2 buttons are used to recall any of the graphic files stored in the media pool so you can quickly switch between stills and source video.

Cut and Auto

The cut button is used to switch cleanly between sources, while the auto button switches using a transition.

Bright LCD Screen

Monitor video, audio levels and see the current audio level being adjusted. The LCD also has menus for all switcher settings.

Menu Buttons and Spin Knob

The spin knob control, menu and set buttons work together with the LCD to give you fast access to all switcher settings, graphics in your media pool, aux output settings, transitions and effects, and more.

Professional Connections

Connect to both broadcast systems or consumer cameras

ATEM Television Studio models use industry standard BNC connections for SDI video and XLR connections for analog audio input. That means you get robust, broadcast quality connections that maintain signal quality and are designed to support years of reliable operation. For compatibility with consumer cameras and computers, the built in HDMI connections eliminate the need for cumbersome external converters. You also get Ethernet for remote software control or to connect hardware controllers, along with RS-422 deck control and a built in IEC power supply.

Source Inputs

There are 4 HDMI and 4 SDI inputs on the HD models, or 8 12G-SDI inputs on the 4K model that allow for connecting up to 8 cameras, computers, gaming consoles, or other sources. All inputs can switch between NTSC/PAL and 720p, 1080i and 1080p HD formats up to 1080p60 on the HD model, while the Ultra HD model works in HD standards as well as 2160p up to 2160p60.
