Overview
The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter Quad SDI to HDMI 4K 2 transforms a single link 6G-SDI, dual-link 3G-SDI, or quad link HD-SDI into a single 4K HDMI output. It can be used for connecting professional SDI equipment with consumer HDMI television and projectors that support 4K resolution. The converter has four BNC connectors, of which the first input automatically detects the type of signal. Similarly, the output connector recognizes whether the output source is an HDTV or HD monitor to down-convert the signal accordingly. Use the built-in DIP switches to control the converter or connect it your Windows or Mac OS system via USB to control it through the included software. You may also update the firmware of the converter via the USB port. The included 12 V power supply cable with international adapters allows you to use the converter anywhere around the world.
